It is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in South London England.It emerged in the late 1990's as a development within a lineage of related styles such as 2-Step Garage, broken beat, drum and base jungle,dub and reggae. The complex way in which the instrumental patterns are arranged make the genre very unique and just the thought of someone beat-boxing a dub-step beat is insane.
